Using
CRB data, for commodities and indexes the data is not showing
properly on the monthly chart. Can you please give me an
advise how to sort it.
Answer:
It is likely that you are viewing an individual contact
in the monthly chart.
As there is only limited historical trading for individual
contracts there will probably be only just a few bars in
the monthly chart which makes it unworkable.
Instead
it is better to view the historical data file in the Monthly
window.
In CRB these are know as NFVOI files.
Click'
File'
Click' New Chart'
Click 'New Pro File'
Select the contract you want.
Then put a tick in 'Use Historical NFVOI for Monthly'
Then load your charts.
