When placing extensions on a chart a figure of 34:7 appears below a figure of 34:44 - why is this so?

Answer:
The figures shown are in Fractions.
In this particular case the figure after the ':' shows just the numerator.

34:44 is actually 34:44/128th
34:7 is actually 34:7/128ths

34:7 is therefore less than 34:44

Notes:
To choose how to display fractions:

In the TESS main screen
Click 'Settings'
Click 'Preferences'
Select the 'Chart Display' tab

Figures can be displayed as:
Decimal, i.e. 34.0546
Fractions, i.e. 34:7
Fractions with Denominator, i.e. 34:7/128
