What's an 'Undetermined Trade' in RTTESS ?

If a price bar crosses the Stop Line and the Entry Point on the same bar the software cannot distinguish which comes first, from the bar data available.

Likewise if a bar crosses the Stop Line and the Scalp Line on the same bar the software cannot distinguish which comes first, from the bar data available.

RTTESS assumes the price action is moving with the signal and that the price moved through the Stop Line before the Entry Point. The software will then show the trade as Live.

'Undetermined Trades' are indicated as such on the Back Test output and also on the 'Right Click' option on the Trade Signal itself.

When viewed in real time the above can cause the qualification colour of a signal to change during the construction of the bar.

As the colouring of the 'Qualification of the Bar' is only a historical indication it will not have any effect on trading in real time.

If you are experiencing may of 'Undetermined Trades' you may be using a Stop Line that is too close to be effectively traded.
