The PTPs do not qualify at the same time as the Entry Point is reached, why ?

The PTPs are usually set to qualify at the same time as the Entry Point, however there are scenarios where they may be different.

A.
The price movement may be after the number of bars required to qualify.
If the PTP Qualifications settings are 50% within 3 bars and the price moves through the 50% mark on the 4th bar then the PTP will not show as qualified.

B.
The PTP Qualification settings may be different to the settings used for the PTP Calculation tool.
If the PTP calculation tool is set to say 25% and the 'Qualified PTPs' are set to 50% then the PTP will not show as qualified until the price action passes the 50% mark, not the 25% mark used in the PTP Calc Tool.

C.
If the PTP Calculation Tool Entry point is based on more than 1 bar then the actual entry point may be higher (or lower) than the value if it had been set based on one bar. The Qualification of the PTPs are based on just 1 bar so they may trigger earlier than the entry point from the PTP Calculation Tool, based on the same percentages.

These tools are not set to always be the same to allow the user to place different/specific entry points without changing the settings on all the PTPs.
