The default number of bars loaded in an RTTESS Chart is
300
To load a chart with a different number of bars:
Click 'File'
Click 'IQfeed Real Time Chart'
Select the number of bars required.
The
Maximum number of Bars that can be loaded in RTTESS is 32,000.
Loading large numbers of bars will cause the software to
run slower.
The software requests data from the server by number of
days.
This is an approximate calculation from the 'Number of Bars'
requested when opening a new chart.
The calculation is also based on an approximate traded day
of 12 hours.
Because of the 24 hour nature of the Forex market, requesting
say 1000 bars will actually return more than 1000 bars.
An example
of the Maximum Request limit for a 10 min FOREX chart is
about 20,000 which will return just less than 32,000 bars
