There
is no sound when there is a new PTP ?
A.
Are the Alarms switched on ?
Right Click 'PTP' tool
Tick 'Sound Alarm on New PTPs'
Click 'OK'
B.
Check the Computer Volume settings.
In the 'System Tray' at the bottom right of the computer
screen there should be an icon to control the sound on the
computer.
Check the 'Master Volume' is at an appropriate level.
C. Check the Individual Sound Input settings.
The sound Control software will vary a lot from one computer
installation to another.
There are usually 'Mute' and 'Volume' controls for all he
various alternative sound inputs.
The sound for the Alarms in RTTESS are usually in the sound
group called 'Wave'.
Check that this is not 'Muted' and that it is set at an
appropriate volume level.
