If a 'Bad Tick' shows in the data, how can this be fixed and will it effect the signals ?

Answer:

If a 'Bad Tick' appears in the firstly refresh the chart by closing it and reopening.
This can be done by saving it as a worksheet and then re opening the worksheet so as not to loose any drawn items.

If the data error persists please report it to the Data Supplier.
The data supplier will be able to investigate the data and fix it on their history servers.

The data cannot be edited in the TESS Real Time Software.

The chart in TESS needs to have been refreshed to see any changes in the history data as described above.

Any errors in the data may have an effect on the signals given by the software.
This effect will diminish as time moves on and the bad data moves further from the current trading activity.
